Kid’s Aprons and Pot Holders

To finish off our kid kitchen, I decided that each of my toddlers should have an apron and matching pot holders.  I’ve seen that you can make kid aprons using a standard pot holder and kitchen hand towel, but I wanted something more fun.  However, I used a pot holder and kitchen towel to give me measurements to start off with!

For my girl, I used some pink stripe fabric I had on hand, and for my boy I used some Finding Nemo fabric.  Both fabrics are hand-me-downs from other people!  I used black rick-rack for trim on the pink apron, and for both I used ribbon for the neck and waist straps.  I made them a little big so that they can use them for some time.  Both of the kids love them!Kid Aprons - AnnaVirginia Fashion
