Pandemic equals Extra CRAFTING!

Wow, it's almost been a year since my last post.  SO MUCH has happened since then.  I still need to get that last pattern ready for sale on my website and Ravelry pages. Sigh, I'll tell you why that hasn't happened yet, if you'd like to know.

Top: Empty Vegas, Masks ready to sew, Moving from Ca
Middle: Unpacking, Masked Family, Surgery Day (shirt says:
Goodbye Uterus, She was kinda cramping my style)
Bottom: Moving from Ca, Family buying a New House
BUT FIRST, in light of the recent worldwide pandemic of COVID-19 and realizing that many more people are home and with hands itching to stay busy, I'm offering my patterns for 1/2 price. NINE of my 20 patterns are already FREE, but I'm hoping this will help some of you to access more patterns.  The sale is valid from TODAY, April 6 through May 5, 2020.  If there are still pandemic troubles I'll consider doing another sale after that. As always, let me know if you have any purchase or pattern questions by emailing me or filling out the contact form on this page.

How to get the sale price: Go to my Ravelry Pattern Sales page and select any patterns you'd like and Add to Cart. In the cart there is an option to Use a Coupon Code.
The coupon code is: STAYSAFE
Then you can complete your purchase.
Like I said, many are Free, so please enjoy as many as you'd like! You can share your creations with me via the contact form here or on Ravelry!

So, in quick summary, over the last year while I've been dark from my website, my family moved from California back to Nevada for my husband's job transfer, we bought a new-construction house, we enrolled our children in the new local school, unpacked and re-arranged, in January we pulled them out of said school (except we kept them in the morning music program), started homeschooling, and then on Valentine's day I had a hysterectomy to remove my overly enlarged uterus. And now I'm sure you're all aware of the worldwide pandemic that has shut down much of the world and encouraged people to "Stay Home" to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus.  So yeah, it's been so very busy.

I'm using this Stay-Home-Time to finish potty-training my youngest child and we are just about there! I'm so excited about that. I've also been sewing face masks (for free for the local hospital, family and friends), and continuing to establish the homeschooling I'm doing for my children. We were hoping to get them into a particular school for the coming school year, but right now I just don't know what to plan on!

If you want to know what source I used for the face masks, I started with this pattern and video (pattern link in her description) available here from Mimi G Style. I modified by adding a third layer, filter pocket and a wire for the nose in an encased pocket.

If you like the hysterectomy shirt, my husband found it for me at Amazon! Hopefully it will be available if anyone wants to buy it.

Good luck out there, everyone.  May God be with you all and I hope you can craft some amazing things.
